Mark a wrestler out for the tournament (injury or withdrawal). Any opponent scheduled against an absent wrestler is automatically awarded a default win, the same rule sumo uses. In Live data mode the API confirms real absences.

This permanently deletes your account, your fantasy team, and your chat messages, and removes you from the leaderboard. This cannot be undone.
Sumo Salt Club (the site, we, us) is a fan-made site for following grand sumo and playing fantasy sumo. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
When you create an account we store your email address, the username you choose, and, if you enter it, your country. We also store the fantasy teams you build for each tournament, and, if you use the Dohyo forum, the posts, comments, images, and votes you submit. We do not collect payment information, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
Your email is used to sign you in and secure your account. Your username and country appear next to your team on the public leaderboard. Your team picks are used to score your fantasy performance and to build the leaderboard. The Dohyo forum is public: anything you post there, including images, is visible to anyone who visits the site, including people who are not signed in.
We use Supabase to store accounts and data, and Netlify to host the site. Your information is handled by these providers only so the site can run. Sumo results and wrestler information come from a public third-party sumo data source that we do not control. We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
The site keeps you signed in using your browser's local storage and may cache sumo data in your browser so pages load faster. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can edit your username and country any time from your account, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your teams and profile.
Sumo Salt Club is intended for a general adult audience. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and the site is not directed at children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Sumo Salt Club is a site made by English speaking sumo fans who wanted an easier way to follow the sport. It brings everything you want from the tournament together in one simple place. You can also build a fantasy team for each tournament, track how it does live each day, and watch your spot on the leaderboard.
Just before they clash, the wrestlers scoop up salt and fling it across the ring to clean it and invite good fortune. Some scatter a quiet pinch, others hurl a great white cloud that hangs in the air. It is one of sumo's most loved traditions, full of drama and ceremony, and that spirit is what we wanted this club to carry, so we named it after the salt.
